ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

Robert LAMAR would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank the following people for their unending support, patience, encouragement, criticisms, suggestions and ideas. As William Bernbach wrote:

"An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it."

The following individuals ARE that talent that have helped Robert LAMAR to pursue the MAGIC. Without them, it would not have been possible:

First and foremost, I would like to thank my wife and my best friend, Anne, for her continued love and support over the past several years. If it wasn't for you, I would not be pursuing my dream. I will never be able to thank you enough. I love you!!!

To our wonderful children, Connor and Shayla: thank you for the true joy you have brought into my life. I marvel at you each and every day! I am very proud of you and I love you both very much!!!

To my parents: from the beginning you have supported me in my pursuit of this far-fetched dream. Never once did you try to discourage me, but rather, you gave me the freedom to go after that which I wanted. Thank you for all your help over the years. I love you both!!!

To my brother, Brent: thanks for all the laughs...and the support you gave me when times were rough. I really appreciate it!!!

Believe it or not, to my mother-in-law, Mrs. C: thank you so very much for your help and assistance for those couple of years in the beginning. Without your help I could not have even begun to pursue my dream.

To John & Roxanne Talbot: what can I say about my best friends! Thank you so very much for all you have done for me! Your kindness, your help, your sense of humour, your creative talents; they never cease to amaze me. You've been a source of inspiration from day one. Everyone should have friends like you!!!

To Steve Gracie who, in the early days, was my Sound Technician. Thanks for all your efforts and your committment to a show that was, at the time, a work in progress. I really appreciate all your efforts.

To John McKeage: Have we had a few laughs, or what? You're dedication to this show has been unbelievable! I thank you for all the work you have selflessly done to help me out. A true friend...for life! Thank you very, very much for everything!

To Richard Bonner: What can I say! Richard has been with me from the beginning when this show was but an undeveloped idea. Starting off as Lighting Designer and Director, Richard now is my Show Director, looking after all aspects of the show, both on and off the road. I can only wish that others are able to find someone as dedicated, committed and hard working as you are. I cannot thank you enough for all you have done...and for all you have put up with. Thank you just doesn't seem adequate enough.

To Marcel Cloutier, at Talent Source Entertainment Coordinators, Limited, for all your help in the beginning. You believed when most didn't. Thank you for all your efforts.

To Dwaine Coughlin, at Coughlin Entertainment & Interactive Inflatable Games, for all you help throughout this bumpy ride. You've lent your ear on more than one occasion, and for that, I am very greatful. Thank you very much for your continued support and belief in the vision that I have for this show.

To Dave Leonard, a very talented artist and adept sleight-of-hand performer, who painted and designed my first poster. Thank you so very much!

To Eric McDow, at EMD Artist Representation, for your help and your guidance. Also, a BIG thank you for designing and creating our second poster and all our promotional tools. It is greatly appreciated!

To Cathy MacPhee: for helping out in so many, many different ways, even on short notice...I will always be greatful.

To the late Gary Ouellete, a pure creative genius that shared his thoughts, and offered constructed criticisms and suggestions, the sole purpose of which was to make our show better. Gary has worked with all the greats in the World of Magic, including David Copperfield, Seigfried & Roy and Lance Burton, just to name a few. He has worked with Reveen for many, many years. Not only have you left your mark permanently and indelibly engraved on the magic scene, but a part of you will always be with our humble production. Thanks for sharing... and helping out...the little guy!

And last, but certainly not least, are two people I am honoured and humbled to call my friends, Peter & Coral Reveen, the real reason why I am pursuing this dream. You have paved the road for which all others may now travel down a bit easier. My dream is not to fill your shoes, something which could not be done. Rather, I hope, someday, to be able to place my shoes along side yours. You have provided more inspiration, help and guidance than you will ever know. Thank you so very much for all the time you have taken out of your busy schedule to spend with me. I was like a child visiting Santa Claus with those moments you afforded me. Your kindness will always be remembered. Again, thank you for everything!
