![]() Thank you for stopping by Robert LAMAR's website for his exciting and dynamic stage concert, Theatre of the MIND. As of Saturday, March 5, 2011, this site is currently undergoing a major overhaul. During this time you may experience some of the links not working. We hope to have the site fully operational within two weeks. In the meantime, please check back again and we do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We do THANK YOU for your patience! ![]() ![]() Richard has been with Theatre of the MIND since its beginnings in 1995 when his initial role was as the act's lighting person. However, as time progressed, he quickly became the overseer for all of the live performances. His present responsibilities include not only administrating and participating in the technical end of the stage show (audio, lighting, and special effects), but also correlating the entire production while on the road. This includes trucking, road crew, show personnel, backstage concerns, and coordination with the venue staff. As well, he continues to be Theatre of the MIND's lighting designer and director. Off the road, he remains the technical advisor and is also involved in the creative process as one of the contributors to, and evaluators of, the routines that fashion the live performance. In addition, he is retained as a "concept man" of lighting and special effects for future aspects of the show. Richard's foremost capacity outside of Theatre of the MIND is as a lighting designer and director for live performance in Atlantic Canada. He is company director of Atlantic Illumination Entertainment Lighting, a stage lighting production company. See Richard's Personal Website for a closer look at Richard and his varied interests (which include roller coasters and amusement parks and the DOS operating system), plus details of his lighting career and the acts/productions for which he has worked.
