The Team Behind The Scenes
Like any other performance, there are people - very important people - that work behind the scenes, that never get the full credit or attention that they deserve; whose talent, skills and ability allow a performer to present the best show possible. This is no different with Robert LAMAR's Theatre of the MIND™. Although an audience may only see LAMAR during a performance, there are a few individuals who work tirelessly to ensure that each performance of Theatre of the MIND™ goes on without a hitch. Audio, lighting, video and special effects would not be possible without their expertise. They are, in essence, YOUR eyes and ears.
"An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it." ~ Bill Bernbach

Todd MASTERS
Stage Manager
Todd's connection with Robert LAMAR goes all the way back to high school (just a few "short" years ago). Sharing an interest in all things magi and hypnosisc, Todd and Robert became immediate friends...a friendship that has lasted to this day. In fact, Todd worked as a Stage Assistant for Robert long before Robert LAMAR's Theatre of the MIND™ was even a thought.

Rick WALKER
The Voice
The ethereal essence of Rick Walker has audibly pervaded Theatre of the MIND™ from the outset. His old-school, rich, deep, sultry voice welcomes all prior to the commencement of every show. In fact, the first thing Robert LAMAR hears before walking through the curtains onto the stage is Rick's vocalizations. He is an entity that belies the age-old parental admonition of, "It's better to be seen then heard." In this case, until now, Rick was always heard but never seen.
Born, raised, and married in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Rick started off working part-time in his family's well-established business, Walker's Printing, before later becoming shareholder, then owner/operator. During this time, Rick earned a Business Administration degree and, as if that wasn't enough, The Voice also received a Broadcast Diploma where he ventured into the broadcasting industry for a stint. During this period he recorded various commercials and public service announcements. Now retired—and when he isn't lending his talents to Robert LAMAR's Theatre of the MIND™—Rick, on occasion, will perform voice-over work.
You may contact Rick at rick@RobertLAMAR.ca.
